Evermore

Darkness. Surrounding both in mind and in body. Never satisfied as it takes all you fight, your reasoning, your hope. Betrayed by two watering stars as they fall into the reign of darkness. Reigned by one. A one who won't listen or even attempt to. Even when you work till silent tears quietly cascade from your eyes with no one even caring. When your just trying to get away from the pain of the world, from the work left to be done; and from what has already just been done. All hope to prevail shattered by darkness who sees nothing but imperfections. Even the ones that cannot be overcome. So, why should you work as hard as possible, just to be punished?

Snow

Once the leaves have fallen and the weather starts to turn. From which the sky this has only just begun. Falling slowly in the morning and rapidly by night. Frosting over the Earth in its never ending fight. As the snow drifts out from an opening in the sky. Emerging slowly; quickly freezing. A land left for ice.

Winter

As the Earth spins, we see the seasons. One of the four is special. For instead of rain or sun or shine, we see the snow. As it lazily drifts down from the heavens; we admire it from the window; over by the fire place. As it lightly covers the world in it's cold, fluffy embrace as it seals the world in a sugar coating, until the earth spins on again, and again, and again.

In the night
Strange things can happen
If you don't pay attention

Sea

In the sea the world seems endless
Through its vast expanses of clearness
It creates the borders
That shape the world as we know it

If the sea was not there
And the earth was all land
Then when it rained
The land would flood
Because the water would have no where to go
The world would start to spin out of balance
And life would end as we know it

Without life there would be no creation
Nothing new would come about
Earth would be a barren wasteland
No plant
No animal
No humans
If life is to survive
Then so must the sea
To keep everything else in balance

In the icy depths of night
Where light lives only in memory
But the light must be kept alive
If not to live without shadows

Without shadows, there might be no scare
Of creatures that prowl in the night
But if life was to be without shadows
Then life would be without light

In hunger
But if life were to find the light
Then life would also find the shadows

Others might blend into its inky depths
